My ideology on dieting is really very simple, I believe the body is intelligent enough, to tell us what we need, but we have simply forgotten what it means to listen to our body, due to the evolution in the food industry.
Whether you are eating after 5: 2, LCHF, Raw, Vegetarian or something else, it doesn’t really mater. There are multiple solutions.
I have made a choice due to my intolerances and therefore I eat gluten and lactose free, but that doesn’t mean you should do the same. I eat meat but only if it can fly or swim because it´s easily digested. I use a very small amount of eggs, oats, hazelnuts, strawberries and honey because I’m allergic.
Actually it´s even more important to remember that it´s possible to eat yourself to an intolerance, think about eating less instead of removing a product completely unless you are intolerant or allergic.
The essence of my dietary guidelines are:
– think organic, eat lots of vegetables, care about your health.
When it comes to a healthy diet and having a healthy lifestyle it´s a question of balance, we use a 80/20 rule in hour house. Meaning weekdays we want to stay sharp and deliver whether we are at work, school or at the gym. So when it come to our weekends we can recovery, relax and loosen up on treats, because we can sleep in and stay up late.
Looking at it objectively it´s as simples as eat less than your burn if we want to lose weight or keep it balanced if you want to stay in the shape you already have to maintain.
